PHYLLIS, 68, of Philadelphia, died Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at home. She was the only daughter of the late Leonard and Rosalie (nee Solomon) Lewy. Phyllis worked 26 years as a Reading Specialist for the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, and after retiring, lived the last 9 years in Center City Philadelphia. She enjoyed auditing courses at both The University of Pennsylvania and Temple University and held both a Bachelors and Masters in English from Temple. Donations may be made to the Rosalie Lewy Endowment Fund at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University or the Len Lewy Endowment Fund at the Esther Boyer School of Music, also at Temple University. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial service on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, 8339 Old York Rd., Elkins Park, PA 19027.
