Phyliss Katz

Phyliss Katz (nee Barg), on November 11, 2024. Wife of the late Bernard Katz. Mother of Cheryl Cohen, Pam-Sue Schwartz and Jeffrey (Ali) Katz. Grandmother of Marissa, Jamie (Pearl), Josh (Becca), Ashley (fiancé Maëva), Alex (partner Meghan), Dara and Danny. Great-grandmother to Braxton and Eliora. Sister of Hope and the late Alan. Mother-in-law of Jeff and Michael. 

Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Wednesday November 13, 2024, at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike Southampton PA 18966 starting at 11:30 AM. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park. **To honor the request of Phyliss, please wear a splash of color to the funeral service and to shiva. For those unable to attend in person, a livestream will be available to view here.  ASL interpreter will be available. 

Shiva will be observed Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Congregation Beth Shalom, 1801 Baynard Blvd. Wilmington DE, 19802. Shiva will continue Thursday at the home of Jeffrey and Ali Katz, starting at 4:00 PM with services at 7:00 PM. Visitors are welcome on Friday and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the home of Pam-Sue Schwartz. Saturday night, shiva will be observed at the home of Pam-Sue Schwartz at 7:00 PM. Shiva will also be held on Monday, November 18, 2024, at Temple Beth Torah Fremont, CA at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to her children’s respective synagogues.
