PHOEBE KOBLER

Phoebe Kobler Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother Phoebe W. Kobler, 91, of Monroe, N.J., formerly of Philadelphia, Pa., and Wyncote, Pa., passed away peacefully on March 22, 2017. Phoebe was born to the late David and Beatrice Weinstein. She graduated from the Philadelphia High School for Girls, and received a B.S. from Temple University and a master's in education from Holy Family College. She taught for many years in the Philadelphia School District. Phoebe lived for the past 10 years in Monroe Village, where she made many friends and oversaw the community's library. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward, and is survived by her son, Scott (Susan), and her beloved granddaughter, Kendra, and by her daughter, Davida. She was blessed to be cared for by her "Ghanaian Angels," led by Nana Boateng. Services are private.
