SOPINSKY
PHILIP, on Dec. 12, 2012. Loving husband for 48 years to his wife Lucille (nee Glick), son of the late Israel and Dora (nee Bernstein) Sopinsky, devoted father of Brian (Lisette) Sopinsky, David (Barri) Sopinsky, Jordan (Natalie) Sopinsky and Jessica (Brad) Begelman, caring brother to his sister Ida Newman and his late brothers Dr. Harry and Irving Sopinsky and beloved grand-father of Perry, Lonni, Farryl, Yisrael, Zevy, Sara, Reid, Madison, Ariel, Anna Bracha and Itzik Ellie. Philip graduated from Central High School before joining the Navy during WWII. After the war, he went on to Temple University on the GI Bill where he earned both his bachelors degree and an MBA which he put to use as Senior Vice President at The Institute for Scientific Information and then while working for the IRS. He was fluent in Yiddish and cherished both reading the Yiddish Forward and listening to songs in this language. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Sunday 12 Noon precisely at
