PHILIP L., May 14, 2005. Husband of Gloria B. (nee Booth), father of Michael L. Simon, grandfather of Sarah Simon. He was the owner of Phil Simon and Associates Advertising Agency located at Broad and Chestnut Sts for approximately 35 years. He was president of the Artist's Guild of the Delaware Valley for the past 23 years. He was a graduate of Northeast High School and The University of the Arts where he received a degree of Graphic Art in 1934. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania awarded him at the 2001 Silver and Gold awards with a certificate in honor of his work benefiting older citizens in the state. He was a patron of the Pennsylvania Ballet. Relatives and friends are invited to memorial services Tues. 1 P.M. GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Contributions in his memory may be made to your favorite charity.
