SHUCHMAN
PHILIP, expert on empirical research in the law, died in Hollywood FL at the age of 77 on Nov. 28, 2004. A Phila native with law and philosophy degrees from University of Penna, Shuchman was a member of the Phila Bar Assn and taught law at the University of Connecticut and Rutgers University-Newark. Deputy Director of U.S. Commission on Bankruptcy Laws. He applied social science research to personal and commercial bankruptcy. He is survived by Hedvah, his wife of 52 years; 4 children, Carol (NY), Matthew (Hollywood), Miriam (Toronto) and Salem (Phila) and 7 grandchildren. The Funeral will be Tuesday Nov. 30th at 2 P.M. at Mt. Sharon Cemetery, Springfield Rd & West Ave, Springfield PA. Family will sit Shiva at the home of Salem Shuchman Tuesday and Wednesday only and at the residence of Carol Shuchman in Brooklyn NY Thursday thru Saturday Eve.
