DR. PHILIP, a retired doctor of Optometry, died July 31, 2005. He was 86 years old and resided in Phila., PA. Dr. Paul was a graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of Optometry. He was an extra-ordinary tennis player and a longtime member of the Logan Tennis Club. He was an honoree of the Academy of Fine Arts for his paintings and sculptures. Dr. Paul served in the Army Medical Section 1325th Service Command Unit during WWII and earned the Good Conduct Medal and other decorations. Beloved husband of 53 years to Estelle R. (nee Resnick). Loving uncle to Barry (Donna) Yaffe, Arlene Sacks, Dr. Stuart Paul and Patricia (Brian) Topkis, brother-in-law of Daniel and Sherri Resnick; also survived by his 9 nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews, 3 great great nieces and nephews as well as his many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Wed. 2:30 P.M. precisely GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS SUBURBAN NORTH, 310 Second St. Pike, Southampton. Int. Shalom Memorial Park. Family will return Wed. only to the residence of Barry and Donna Yaffe. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
