Phil Weinberg

Weinberg Phil Alternate Governor for the Philadelphia Flyers and Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel for Comcast Spectacor, the Wells Fargo Center, the Flyers, Wings, Fusion, and the East Coast Hockey League's Maine Mariners, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 while recovering from surgery. He was 66. He is survived by his wife, Terry; their children, Sydney and Zach, and his sister Eileen Snowden. He was on the Board of Directors of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation, Flyers Charities, Philadelphia Futures, and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania. He was also the personal attorney for the late Ed Snider, the Flyers' co-founder. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 8th at 11:30 A.M. at GOLDSTEIN'S ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL-SACKS Southampton. The family is requesting that only those who are vaccinated attend.
