Peggy J. Kreider, 63, passed away on July 20, 2026. Born to Lena Irene (nee Ziegler) and Irvin H. Kreider. Graduated from Liberty High School in 1981, after graduation she volunteered in Washington state helping the youth for the summer. She served the United Methodist Churchs of Bethel, Fisherdale and St. Paul from 2002 to 2007. Peggy volunteered at various organizations through her life, as well as working at various job opportunites. But, if you asked her she would tell you that her favorite job was being a hospital chaplin. 

She is survived by her daughter Reba Broadfield, siblings Dale (Alice), Linda (John) Riddle, Jay and Dennis (Brandi). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and numerious aunts and uncles. Predeceased by her parents and Ed Broadfield. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to either the Michael J. Fox Foundation or to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.  

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, time and date to be announced.
