Paula Etkin (Urofsky) is predeceased by her loving parents Ethel (Spikol) and Phillip Urofsky as well as the love of her life, Alan Etkin. She was a graduate of Olney High School and went on to a career working for the Secret Service, the Canadian and Australian Governments, The National Park Service, and as a customer service representative for Anne Klein watches. She loved reading, baking, bargain shopping, and spending time at the casino. She was known for her mun cookies, kamish bread, potato latkes, and matzoh ball soup. There was nothing she loved more or more important to her than talking to and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her children, Terri and Marc (Joni), her sister, Elaine Grinspan (Stewart), her Great Aunt Jeanette Edelstein, her sister in-law, Lorraine Etkin, her nieces, Michelle, Jennifer (Pete), and Carly (Brian), her nephews, Marc, Craig, and Scott, her best friend, Arlene Finkelstein, and all of her many cousins who she loved very much. Donations may be made in her memory to The Alzheimers Foundation. Services will be held on Tuesday February 21st at 11:30 at Goldstein's, burial will follow at King David followed by Shiva at Shaare Shamayim Synogogue. The family will be sitting Shiva Tuesday evening at the home of Ron and Marla Urofsky.
