Pam was born on January 21, 1959, in Atlanta Georgia. She was the eldest and beloved daughter of Matthew and Julia RossGrowing up in the vibrant area city of Atlanta, she attended and graduated from the Atlanta school system before working on her post-secondary education at Chestnut Hill College.

At age 25, Pam embarked on a journey of love and family; her journey took her to Philadelphia, PA where she would settle. She married James Pitts, and together they experienced the joys and challenges of parenthood, welcoming their beautiful daughter, Akaette (Kay) Pitts into the world.

Pam was a dedicated member of society taking on various roles in federal employment with United States Postal Service and Department of Veteran Affairs. Pam devoted her life to God at an early age and was an active member of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church. She enjoyed attending concerts, plays and enjoyed weekend outings to the thrift store with her daughter. She treasured her time with her granddaughter, Dylan and loved being a grandmother, never failing to make time to take Dylan out on a new adventure, a delicious bite to eat, or even to a play at the theatre
