Norma Rosenfeld, 98 passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 6, 2026. She was the wife of the late Rabbi Paul Rosenfeld.

Norma lived a life defined by kindness, resilience, and devotion to her family. She embraced each chapter of her life with grace and found joy in both life's greatest milestones and its simplest moments. Her warmth, wisdom, and gentle spirit made everyone around her feel welcome and loved. Norma was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Feltonville. She went to Olney High School and was an excellent student. Norma then went onto become a stenographer and worked for years as an executive secretary at Temple University medical school. Norma centered her life around Judaism and was proud of her Jewish heritage. She was also very active in the Jewish community. Norma was always willing to donate her time and resources. She took a lot of pride in her volunteer work. She was an usher for many years at the Kravis Center for the performing arts. Family was the center of Norma's life. She took immense pride in those she loved and found her greatest happiness in spending time together, celebrating traditions, sharing stories, and creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Her unconditional love, thoughtful guidance, and unwavering support were gifts that her family will carry with them always. Norma will be remembered for her generous heart, quiet strength, and ability to make others feel seen and valued. Whether through a kind word, a comforting embrace, or her caring presence, she made a lasting difference in the lives of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Mother to the late Harvey Josephon (Rosemary) and to the late Marcia Josephson. Survived by her stepchildren Susan (Joel) Friedman, Steven (Irina) Rosenfeld; Grandchildren Stephen (Holli) Josephson, Adam (Sarah) Friedman, Benjamin Friedman (Giselle Reyes) Hannah Rosenfeld (Ricardo Randellini); Great Grandchildren Oliver and Daphne Friedman, Elio Leone Randellini Rosenfeld. Though Norma's passing leaves a profound void, her legacy of love, compassion, and family will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. A service to celebrate Norma's life will be held on August 10, 2026 at Mt Sharon Cemetery in Springfield at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Norma to Temple Beth El, 1836 Rohrerstown Road, Lancaster, PA 17601 if desired. May her memory be a blessing.
