Norma Nathanson

Norma Silverman Nathanson, 81, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023, in Cape Coral, Florida, with her loving family by her side. Norma was born on August 9, 1941 to Mary and Irving Silverman.  She had a happy childhood in Philadelphia, PA surrounded by her parents, brother Harvey, and a host of family and friends. Norma graduated from Albert Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing in Philadelphia (1962).  Her career as a Registered Nurse spanned several decades. She was a kind and compassionate caregiver who will be remembered for her sweet and loving nature. She was also a dedicated volunteer in her community. Norma loved being active and had many interests. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, reading, and listening to music. Her appreciation for life’s simple pleasures was contagious and she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone she met.  

Norma’s greatest joy was her family. Norma is survived by her children, Pamela, Neil (Maria), and Susan (Michael), and grandchildren, Lauren, Benjamin, Maya, Madeline and Dana. Norma was cherished by her family and friends and will be deeply missed and forever remembered.  Family and friends are invited to funeral services on Friday, May 12^th, 2023 at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael-Sacks Suburban North, 310 Second Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966 at 9:30 AM promptly. Interment to follow at Shalom Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Bucks County SPCA at https://buckscountyspca.org/donate/.
