STEIN - Nathan, age 77, died peacefully at his home on Sept. 3, 2005. Nathan was a resident of Oreland, Pa., for the past 45 years. He was born on July 27, 1928, in Newark, N.J., to Harry and Yetta Stein. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Stephanie (Zelenka), children, Jeffrey Stein and Lori (Stein) Freudman, and a sister, Rose Marshall of Springfield, N.J. He was a loving grandfather to Julian and Alex Stein, Benjamin, Alison and Juliet Freudman. Nathan is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nathan retired in April of 2000 from J.B. Hanauer & Co., after a successful career as an investment broker; he was employed from 1953 to 1976 by PPSB, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Hearst Corp., and was co-owner of Witt Steins Restaurant on the University of Pennsylvania campus, which opened in April of 1977.
