Natalie Riff Wallace (nee Rosenstein) was the daughter of the late Saul and Dorothy Rosenstein, twin sister to the late Nathan Rosenstein, and younger sister of the late Daniel Rosenstein. A highly intelligent woman of high principles and ideals. She was a hard-working, responsible, and dedicated person, who would always strive for perfection. Her desire for perfection reflected in the raising of her children. As a mother, she gave her all, and the love, warmth and guidance she showed will never be forgotten.
She was also an exceptionally devoted daughter through the years. They had a uniquely close and loving relationship. She used to say that her mother was her Best Friend.
Natalie was an eloquent woman of high sensitivity and a great appreciated of nature and beauty. She loved to take pictures of her family and friends, and beautiful scenery. She would love to capture a Sunset. Her favorite hobby was photography. She put together many beautiful photo albums.
As the years went by, and her children were grown and married, she was on her own. She procured a position as an office manager for an orthodox Hebrew Day School. This experience was a revelation to her, as she observed and learned so many interesting traditions and facts relating to Judaism. Her perfectionism came out and appeared in her work and abilities. She was admired and appreciated by her school principal, teachers, parents and peers.
Several years later, she worked for the Russian Resettlement Department of Jewish Family and Childrens Service. She served as a superior receptionist and office manager of this department. She started and created a filing system, typed up forms, reports, letters, programs and resumes. Her computer skills were impeccable. She welcomed the Russian refugees, guided them, and helped to make their arrival in American a pleasant, comfortable and rewarding experience.
All in all, Natalie’s life was very fulfilling and meaningful. And she served as a guide, protector and inspiration to those who loved and knew her well.
