Nancy Shrier

(nee Wachtel), on July 30^th, 2022. She passed on peacefully with her family by her side. Beloved wife of Marc Shrier; adoring mother of Lee (Steve) Yonish and Peter (Shraddha) Shrier. Loving grandmother (“CeCe”) of Zach, Wesley, Lucas, and Calvin. Dear sister of the late Laurie (Eric) Stoelting, Edward Rosenthal and Louis (Charlotte) Rosenthal.

Nancy’s tennis community was very dear to her as she was a passionate tennis player who played competitively for all her adult life, even representing the US in the 1989 Maccabiah Games in Israel. Nancy was heavily involved in Albert Einstein Hospital; she served as the Chair of the Advisory Board for Moss Rehab, and a Board Member of the Albert Einstein Healthcare Network.

Nancy looked out for everyone, with no limit to her kindness. To those who knew her well, her joy and laughter were infectious. Her friends, and especially her family, made her so happy, and she would regularly “announce” how happy they made her. She was a comfort, a wise soul and a treasure to everyone who knew her and spent time with her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at Congregation Rodeph Shalom, 615 N. Broad St, Phila, PA, on Wednesday Aug. 3, 2022, at 11:00 am precisely.
