NADINE (nee Kurash), May 17, 2014, age 79, of Boca Raton, FL., formerly of Philadelphia, PA. and Bronx, NY. Beloved wife of the late Milton; loving mother of Gail (Roger) Brown and Marc (Linda Servetnick) Lande; adored grandmother of Lee, Eliana, Juliet, Jessica and Alex; dear sister of David (Louise) Kurash and Arline (nee Kurash) Hoffinger. Mrs. Lande was a beloved teacher at the Solomon Schechter Day School in Philadelphia until her retirement in 1991. In Florida, she was much loved by her community of Whisper Walk. She loved studying college level courses, volunteering in the public schools, was a patron of the arts and enjoyed traveling and seeing her grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services at Mt. Sharon Cem., Springfield, PA. (Sect. I) Tuesday, May 20, at 1 P.M. The family will return to the home of Raymond Fabius and Sara Matthews immediately following the Service. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to ProLiteracy.org
