Moshe Vaulin

Moshe Vaulin passed away on April 4, 2024. Born on March 23, 1939, in Kyiv, Ukraine, Moshe and his family came to Philadelphia via passage through Israel and then Paris.

He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Ludmila “Lucy” Vaulin. His daughter, Vladislava “Lada” Vaulin, and her husband, Martin Zalazar. His grandson, Eric Vishnevetsky and his fiancée Jenna Pepperman. His granddaughter, Emily Vishnevetsky. His step-granddaughter, Daiana Zalazar, and her husband Nico Luca. And last, his brothers Rudolph and Valery Vaulin.

Moshe loved the simple things in life. Like most men of his generation, his favorite meal was one cooked at home by his wife and best friend, Lucy. He took great pride in his work and his work ethic. He was passionate about everything he did, most important to him was taking care of his family. Trained as an electrical engineer back in Kyiv, Moshe spent most of his adult life as a business owner in the jewelry business, Lada, his daughter, carries on that legacy. As a young man, Moshe had a passion for all things fitness and this evolved into a spot in his heart for the Philadelphia Eagles and Penn State football, he passed these values and loyalty onto his grandson, Eric. One of the things that brought him the most joy was spending time with animals, he and his wife were dog owners for most of their lives, and this trait will live on in his granddaughter, Emily.

Moshe was the family’s patriarch and their rock. He will be missed beyond measure, but his memory lives on in all who knew him.
