Morton Kafrissen

Morton W. Kafrissen, 89, of Warrington, peacefully passed away on February 10, 2026. Mort was preceded in death by his parents, Abraham and Dora. He is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Ellyn (née Kauffman), his beloved daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Adam Perlman, and his cherished grandchildren, Matthew (Chelsea) and Daniel. He is also survived by his brother, Dr. Edward Kafrissen (Sandy), close friends and family members.

Mort was an honor graduate of Central High School and Temple University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He was a Specialized Tax Auditor in excise and income tax with the IRS for 42 years and was a past-president of the IRS Twenty-Five-Year Club. After his “retirement,” Mort became an Enrolled Tax Agent for corporate and individual clients for 20 years. He taught continuing education for accountants and CPAs at Villanova University and made multiple tv and radio appearances giving tax advice. Mort was beloved by everyone not only for his financial knowledge but for his unique sense of humor. He loved to laugh at his own jokes and poems.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral service on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at 11:30 am at the Mausoleum at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy, Trevose, PA 19053.
