Morris H. Kornsgold

August 10, 2023. Husband of Rose (nee Korntreger). Father of Rabbi Jay (Leslie) Kornsgold, Laura (Cantor Larry) Brandspiegel and Rabbi Helene Kornsgold (Alon Avital). Grandfather of Rabbi Noam (Rabbi Gavriella) Kornsgold, Samantha (Avi) Sinoff, Yona Kornsgold (Tamar Dayanim), Heather Brandspiegel, Yaffa Kornsgold and Jeremy Brandspiegel. Great grandfather of Shemayah Kornsgold and Orli Sinoff. Morris was very involved in synagogue life. He was the president for 20 years at Aitz Chaim Synagogue Center. He was the president of Adath Zion Congregation. He was on the committee for the merger with the Congregations of Ner Zedek and the Congregations of Shaare Shamayim. He was also the banquet chair for Congregation Beth Solomon in Mt. Airy. Morris helped resolve disputes in the community. He was known as “Henry Kissinger of the Northeast.” Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Friday 10:30 AM precisely at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael Sacks Suburban North, 310 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed Friday through Thursday morning, location to be announced.
