Mordecai Adar, 75, passed on Dec. 31, 2013. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. precisely, at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael-Sacks Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, Pa., www.goldsteinsfuneral.com. Interment is in Shalom Memorial Park, Huntingdon Valley, Pa. Shiva will be observed at the home of Jonathan and Joanne Adar and at the home of Lisa and Brian Silvey. On Tuesday, Fran will receive relatives and friends at her home. Mr. Adar was the beloved husband of Fran (nee Gitterman), of Monroe Twp., N.J.; loving father of Jonathan Adar (Joanne), of New Hope, Pa., and Lisa Silvey (Brian), of Highland Park, N.J.; brother of Ruti Ables, Yosi Hode, and Nomi Alfiya, and loving grandfather of Emily, Maxwell, Rina, Joshua, Azriel, and Natanel. Contributions may be made to the Michael Levin Fund for Lone Soldiers of the IDF, c/o Harriet Levin, 11 Vermeer Drive, Langhorne, Pa. 19053; the Jewish National Fund, or any charity that benefits the State of Israel.
