MOE, Jan. 15, 2004, he was 80, owner of meat packing companies in Phila. with his father and brothers. He died of liver disease at Golden Slipper Nursing and Rehabilitation Home. Mr. Shipon who lived in the Northeast was a co-owner of Eastern Boneless Beef Co. and Heritage Meat Co. An Army veteran, who fought in General Patton's Landing on D-Day Plus 3. Moe was active in the Boy Scouts, the Masons Athelstam Lodge No. 482 F.&A.M., Lodge Council Chapter Consistory Valley of Scranton and Past President of Quaker City Shrine Club of Lulu Temple., He was the recipient of the Four Chaplain Award for Service. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Yetta (nee Hoffman); his dearest sons and their wives, Steven (Michelle), Neal (Sandy), Martin (Melanie) and Eric (Barbara); precious grandfather of Jennifer (Jonathan) Shur, Stephanie (Brian) Freedman, Hali Shipon, Kim Shipon, Rachel Gordon, Gabriel Shipon, Alexa and Billie Shipon; also survived by dear sisters and brothers, Bert (Herb) Goldstein, Mickey (Nat) Steen, Harry (Sue) Shipon, Stanley (Laura) Shipon, the late Joseph Shipon and his wife Shirley, the late Esther Teplitsky and her husband Ray, the late Nathan Shipon and the late Sophie Shipon; loving nieces, nephews and in-laws. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Friday, 11:30 A.M. precisely, GOLDSTEINS' ROSENBERG'S RAPHAEL SACKS, 6410 N. Broad St. Int. Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Eric and Barbara Shipon.
