It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mitchell “Melody Mitch” Rowe, who passed away on September 10, 2025 in West Berlin, NJ. Born on November 14, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, Mitchell was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He was a successful investment advisor at the time of his retirement. Earlier in life, Mitchell was a piano prodigy performing live on shows such as The Horn and Hardart Children’s Hour and later becoming a studio musician at studios including the famous Sigma Sound Studios. Mitchell is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years Paula (nee Kressman); his children, Todd (Jennifer) and Melissa (Brian) Halprin; his grandchildren, Carter, Callie, and Dylan; and his sister Barbara (Guss). Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Bernice Rosenberg (nee Sklar). A funeral service will be held at 2pm on September 12, 2025 at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ. Mitchell will be remembered by all who knew him as intensely driven to succeed and provide for his family; for that, his family is forever grateful.
