LIEBERGOT

MILTON, 97, of Frederick, MD died Monday, May 7, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital after a long and fruitful life. Born January 11, 1915 in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Harry and Fannie Liebergot. Milton grew up in Philadelphia and during WWII, he was a construction worker at the Philadelphia Naval Yard, where he helped build P-38 Lightening airplanes for the war effort.
Subsequently, he and his family moved to Atlantic City, NJ, where Milton was a hard worker for many years in retail businesses, both as employee and owner. He also served for a number of years in the U.S. Postal service, as an evening job after a full day's work in retail job. He lived in Ventnor, NJ for most of his retired years until moving to Frederick, MD in 2009. He enjoyed sports such as bowling and billiards and was very skilled at both into his late years. He will be remembered as a kind person, tending to his ailing wife in her later years as well as neighbors and family members going through various illnesses. He was outgoing with a quick sense of humor that delighted his acquaintances for his whole life.
Survivng are a loving son, Harris Liebergot and his wife Bonnie, granddaughter Jennifer Alexandroff and husband Yehuda, grandson Jack Langer, 4 great grand-children and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife and companion of 57 years, Yetta Liebergot, and two brothers, Sol Liebergot and David Liebergot. Graveside Services will be held Thursday, May 10, 2 P.M. precisely, at Montefiore Cemetery, Jenkin-town, PA. The family will sit Shiva at the Liebergot's, 4615 N. Park Ave, Apt. 1703, Chevy Chase, MD 20815.
