MERIN, MILDRED DIAMOND
Beloved wife of Charles Merin for 65 years and mother of Mark Merin of Sacramento and Carol Schwarzschild of Elkins Park, PA, died on February 2, 6 days after suffering a stroke while visiting family in Sacramento with her husband. Although blind for the last five years, Milly had remained independent, enjoyed books on tape, and was the matriarch of a large, loving family which she brought together every year for Rosh Hashannah dinner. She is survived by her husband, children, grand children Edward, Arthur and Jeffrey Schwarzschild and Noah and Maia Merin. Funeral will be at Goldstein, Rosenberg, Raphael and Sacks, N. Broad Street St., Philadelphia, PA on Thursday, February 6, at 11:00 am.
