(nee Paul) on October 19, 2019. Mildred passed away peacefully after a long battle with heart disease. Wife of 45 yrs to the late Ray Herot; Mother of Joseph (Virginia) Grossman and Jessica (Alan) Wilder; Step-mother of Jeffrey (Twila) Herot and the late Michael Herot; Step-mother-in-law of Paula; Grandmother of Alex, Ben (Sarah), Enjoli (Isaac), Phillip (Kelly), Jacob and the late Aaron: Great-grandmother of Katrina and Reuben; Aunt of Cindy Goodman. Mildred was an artist. She was a sculptor and a potter whose work has been recognized locally for many years especially at the Cheltenham Center for the Arts as well as many Art Fairs throughout the Philadelphia area. She was a member of Artist Equity and The Clay Guild of Philadelphia. She continued to work until her death, finishing several new projects just weeks before she passed away. She was as honest a person you could ever want to meet and that's why she is mourned by so many. She was smart and funny, never losing her wit and wisdom. To say that she will be missed is an understatement. The world is a quieter and maybe a bit less fun without her, but all those who knew her can take solace in the fact that she lived and died on her own terms. We should all be so lucky. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services, Sunday, 1:30 PM (EST) precisely at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael-Sacks, 6410 N. Broad St., Phila., PA. Int. Private.
