Mildred (nee Blumenthal), wife of Harold, mother of Barbara, Neil and Bruce (Andrea); grandmother of Zachary and Alexandria and sister to Gilbert Blumenthal, passed away at the age of 86 on November 25, 2021. Although she served as an Admissions Director in several skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, and later a volunteer in the surgical recovery center at a local hospital, her greatest accomplishments involved breaking barriers in education for mentally disabled children.
