Michelle Ruiz

Michelle L. Ruiz (nee Gold), (51), of Warminster, PA passed away on June 11, 2023 at Chandler Hall hospice after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. 

Born March 13, 1972 in Philadelphia, PA to Marlene Bonner and her late father James Bonner of Wycombe, PA. She is survived by her beloved husband of 29 years, Dave Ruiz; their children, Devon Ruiz (Jace), DJ Ruiz, and Samantha Ruiz Trout (John) and granddaughter Leila Ruiz. Siblings; Bonnie Bonner (John), Brian Bonner, Bret Bonner, Bruce Gold (Melanie), Tori Waskiewicz (Vince), Nicole Manning, and many nieces and nephews.

Michelle loved her family so very much, they meant the world to her. She enjoyed spending time with them up the mountains, down the shore in Atlantic City, and anywhere her kids were. She fell in love with Leila when she became “Grammy”, it was her greatest joy. When the kids were younger, she enjoyed fishing with Dave, watching DJ play sports, and spending girl time with Sam. She was fiercely protective of her kids and family. Michelle and Dave shared a wonderful and loving life together, with over 30 years of memories.

Michelle was a 1990 Council Rock High School graduate and became a certified Ultrasounds Technician. She had many careers including working for General Electric, a doctor’s practice, and working alongside her husband. 

Michelle was a fighter, she more than proved that while she battled two different cancers; most recently her two and a half year battle with pancreatic cancer. She fought every day to be here with her loving husband, amazing children, granddaughter, and her family and friends.
