Michael Kanther of Warminster, PA passed away on September 30, 2022. He was predeceased by the love of his life Diane (nee Stevens) and his parents Joan and Bud Kanther. Michael was the beloved brother of Lori Freedman (Glen) and brother in law of Donna DeSanto (Thomas), Joseph Stevens (Peggy), Kathleen Stevens (Joseph), Christine Miluzzo (Gary) and the late Phillip Stevens (Patricia). He was the devoted Uncle Mike to his many adored nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Also survived by loving family and friends.
Michael was retired after 35 years working at the Defense Logistics Agency in Philadelphia as a demand planner where he made many friends that he considered his family. Michael will forever be remembered for his infectious smile, quick wit, fierce devotion to family and friends and his never give up attitude meeting all challenges that stood in his way.
The family would like to thank all of his wonderful doctors and nurses at Abington/Jefferson Health System as well as Chandler Hall Hospice who treated him during his courageous battle with his recent illness.
Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Monday, October 3, at 11:30 AM precisely at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael Sacks, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966. Interment Resurrection Cemetery-Bensalem. Shiva will be at the home of Hope and Jared Shafer on Monday. Contributions in Michael’s memory may be made to United Cerebral Palsy https://ucp.org/ or the donor’s charity of choice.
