He served as president of a professional organization "SITE" where he received many awards for excellence in his profession. He has business friends around the world who will remember him for his professionalism and dedication to world travel. He was devoted to his family, most especially his grandchildren who he loved dearly.
Husband of Susan (nee Brodgins), father of Andy Hurwitz (Phyllis) and Lisa Hurwitz. Brother of Joel Hurwitz (Winky), grandfather of Samson, Charlie, and Julius Hurwitz and Nathaniel, Henry, and Eli Root. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Monday 12 Noon precisely at the Roosevelt Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, Trevose, PA. Interment Roosevelt Memorial Park. Shiva will be observed at the residence of Phyllis and Andy Hurwitz through Tuesday evening. Contributions in his memory may be made to Pennsylvania S.P.C.A., 350 E. Erie Avenue, Phila., PA 19134.
