Michael Saul Gale, 82, of Southampton Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at his residence on April 13, 2026. He was born in the Bronx, New York, before later making his home in Southampton. Michael was the husband of the late Andrea (nee Weiner), and was also preceded in death by his father, George E. Gale, an accomplished musician and graduate of Columbia University Teachers College, and his beloved mother, Mary (nee Stein), a graduate of City College of New York (undergraduate) and Hunter College (MA guidance counseling) who became an educator and devoted her life to teaching and inspiring generations of students. Michael graduated from Fordham University and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Michael served in Vietnam from 1964 through 1968 and then reenlisted before being honorably discharged in 1970. Beyond his service, Michael worked as a computer programmer, and later as a staff engineer for the president of Intermetrics, Inc., a Warminster Township software and engineering company that contracted with the Naval Air Development Center.
