Melvin E. Levy, 89, of North Wales, PA, passed away on August 3, 2026

Born on March 9, 1937 in Philadelphia, he was the beloved son of Herbert and Bella. A graduate of Olney High School and Temple University and veteran of the Army National Guard, Mel worked many years as an accountant for Goldenberg Rosenthal. Outside of work, Mel enjoyed spending time at the beach at Atlantic City and loved to travel. He also had a fascination with the weather and probably missed his calling as a meteorologist!

Mel was a loving husband to his wife Sue-Ann to whom he was married for 50 years before her passing in 2018. Melvin is survived by his sister Fran, son Scott, daughter Michelle, son-in-law Dan, and granddaughters Lauren and Katie. In addition to his wife Sue-Ann, Mel was preceded in death by granddaughter Jolah and brother-in-law Bernie.

Mel will be remembered for his love for his family, traditional values, and the way he made the people around him smile. His memory will be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

Relatives and friends are invited to Graveside Services for Melvin on Thursday, August 6, 2026 at 11:30 AM precisely at Shalom Memorial Park, 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
