Mary Anne Kallen

Mary Anne Kallen (née Gallagher), of Glenside, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the age of 75.

Born on September 2, 1949, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mary Anne was the beloved daughter of Daniel and Agnes (née Collier) Gallagher. She grew up in a close-knit family and was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Beatrice and Lillian.

Mary Anne built a life rooted in love and devotion. She shared 55 cherished years with her husband, Arnold, creating a home filled with warmth and care. Her first job was raising her four children, during which time she went to school for accounting. She later worked as Chief Financial Officer at Weintraub Brothers for 20 years. She spent many happy summers with her husband and family at the beach in Delaware.

Mary Anne is survived by her husband Arnold, her four children Samantha (Robert), Daniel (Meghan), Kathleen (Anthony), and BethAnne (Mark), as well as her pride and joy, her ten grandchildren: Joanna, Charles, John, Sarah, Lena, AJ, Erica, Matthew, Lydia, and Harrison. She is also survived by her brother Daniel and sister Theresa. Mary Anne’s memory will live on through the many lives she touched with her enduring love and presence. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held on July 31, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Reform Congregation Keneseth Israel, 8339 Old York Road, Elkins Park PA 19027.
