Martin Wechter, age 96, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2020. He was a resident of the Abramson Center for Jewish Life. Martin was born in Philadelphia and lived there until he moved to Harleysville and then to his final residence at Abramson. He was a veteran of WWII and worked most of his life for SKF Industries. After retiring, he worked part time for several years. Martin enjoyed going to the Casino and eating out with his family. Martin is preceded in death by his loving wife Florence and his two sisters, Helen and Sarah. He is survived by his daughter Sheila, son-in-law Benjamin, granddaughter Anna, his niece Andrea, nephew Harris and their families. A celebration of his life will be held at a future date. Donations made in his memory may be sent to the St. Jude Children's Research Center Hospital or to a charity of the donor's choice.
