
Martha Pollack lived March 23, 1928 until January 16, 2022.
Her 93 years were full of life, caring deeply for family, long-time friends, and her teaching profession.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren. Martha earned a Bachelor degree and two Master of Arts degrees in education, with specializations in dance, physical education, and special education, and a Principal certification. She worked for more than 30 years teaching for schools in Neshaminy School District, Bucks County, Pennsylvania where she also set up summer programs to give special needs children access to additional educational experiences both within and outside of the classroom. Martha also spent many summers as Director of day and overnight summer camps, including Camp Wanee in Vermont and Camp Berkshire in Connecticut. She loved the arts, especially opera. A graveside service was held on January 23, 2022 at Shalom Memorial Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania. To honor Martha's passing, memorial donations may be made to Opera Philadelphia or to organizations that aim to save the environment and/or enhance the beauty of our earth.
