NEEDELMAN
MARJORIE, age 88 (nee Coutts) passed away after a lengthy illness on Feb. 5, 2011. Beloved wife of the late Benjamin, whom she met while he was stationed in England during WWII. She was very proud to have been known as a War Bride. Adored mom of Diane (Robert) Miller and Adrienne (Alan) Magness, loving mom-mom to Perry Miller, Ryan Miller (Denise Wadsworth), Stephanie (Matt) Freedman and Jessica Magness. Cherished bubbie to Michael, Molly and Evan Miller. She will also be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Shirley Silverman, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law Elma and Phil Needelman, as well as many nieces and nephews and her adored caretaker Kathy Jones. Upon arriving in America on Columbus Day of 1944, she embraced her new country and soon became a citizen. She worked as a hair dresser, manicurist and teacher's aide for the Phila. School District. She was also a dedicated volunteer for Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Benjamin and Marjorie were also among the founding members of Beth Emeth Synagogue of Northeast Phila. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Services Monday, Feb. 7, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. precisely.
