Margaret A. Link. 90, of 206 Fifth St. Burr Oak died April 1, 2004 at the Three Rivers Hospital Emergency. She was born October 1, 1913 in Nottawa Twp. Michigan a daughter of Warren L. and Ethel (Hoskinson) Arick. She had made her home in the Chicago area for several years and had graduated from Calumet High School. She was an accountant for a Packard Dealer and in 1942 she moved back to the family farm on the Mendon Prairie. On February 6, 1954 in Three Rivers she married Harry Link. Margaret had been employed by the Eaton Manufacturing Corporation in the efficiancy department. She also was a secretary for Jack Broker in Three Rivers and had been employed by Victor Screw of Burr Oak for eleven years. Margaret was Burr Oak Village Clerk for 18 years and was active in the Eastern Star until the charter was lost. She had also been church treasurer and financial secretary.



Surviving are one son Warren Link and wife Carolyn of Mendon. Grandchildren Megan Link and Brenna Link of Mendon; Step-children Harry L. Link of Grand Junction, Colorado; Evelyn Brunner (Dale) of Burr Oak; Dorothy Cossairt (Therman) of Colon; Mary L. Link of Aurora, Colorado; Fourteen step-grandchildren; and several step-great-greatgrandchildren.



According to her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at the Burr Oak United Methodist Church on Thursday. April 8, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. William Chu officiating. Interment of the cremains will follow in Burr Oak Cemetery. The family suggests memorials may be directed to the Burr Oak United Church or charity of choice.
