Margaret L. Hunn

Margaret (Peggy) Hunn (nee Lurch), formally of Lansdale and Blue Bell, Pennsylvania passed away on January 23, 2024 at the age of 88. Margaret was predeceased by her parents Hans and Annelise Lurch, her husband Stanford S. Hunn, son Robert N. Hunn and grandson Jeremy David Hunn. She will forever be missed by her sons Andrew (Hillary), Dr. Richard (Michele) Hunn, her daughter Lisa (Roy) Hunn Barber, daughter in law Shari Hunn, grandchildren Rachel Hunn, Hadley Barber, Samuel Hunn, Noah Hunn, Melissa Hunn, Joshua Hunn, Alexa Hunn and Avery Barber.

Peggy was born in Mannheim, Germany in 1935. She was only 3 when her parents fled Nazi Germany to start a new life in Philadelphia. She attended Olney High School, Penn State University and the University of Pennsylvania. Peggy met the love of her life at overnight camp and they were married for 58 years. Her husband, children and grandchildren were her world. Along with spending winters in Delray Beach, she enjoyed tennis, golf and later bridge, where she earned the rank of Silver Life Master.

Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Thursday, January 25^th, 2024 at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Raphael-Sacks Suburban North, 310 2^nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966. Interment to follow at Montefiore Cemetery, 600 Church Rd, Jenkintown PA 19046. Shiva to follow at the home of Lisa Hunn Barber following services and will continue at the home of Richard Hunn on Saturday.

Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
