Louis C. Rosen, aged 77, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on March 1, 2026, following a long illness. Louis was born on December 17, 1948, to Jack and Thelma Rosen.
Louis graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School with honors and attended Penn State University where he received his BA and Masters’ degrees within 3 years’ time. He then worked for the Philadelphia Bulletin as a copy editor and later in Washington DC as a writer for several publications. A few years later Louis decided his first love was law, so he attended Villanova Law School where he received his Law Degree in 1979. He then worked in private practice for several years after which he became Deputy County Council of Hudson, NJ from which he retired in 2024. Louis enjoyed extreme pride in his legal career and continued to have regular communication with several of his past colleagues after his retirement. In addition to his professional career, he had a great passion for the arts, enjoying classical music, opera and dance. He also enjoyed and gave his family years of pleasure with his concert accordion talent, playing in concerts with the Johnny Felice Orchestra and even appearing on The Chief Halftown television show.
Louis was pre-deceased by his parents and brother Mark “Mickey”, Uncle Harry Krupnick, and is survived by his loving wife Marita, sister Marie Salvadore, brother-in-law Mike Salvadore, sister Francine Weinberg, Aunt Diane Krupnick and several nieces and nephews.
