Husband of Ethel (nee Lande), father of Joseph Ivens, Rosland Ivens, Susan (Drew) Ivens-Graef, stepfather of Dr. Raymond (Sara Matthews) Fabius, Dr. Barry (Donna) Fabius, Alan (Jodi) Fabius, brother of Bernard (Beth) Ivens, brother-in-law of Caroline Ivens; also survived by 8 grandchildren.
