
ARZT LOIS 92 years old, died peacefully on Saturday, September 25, 2021. She suffered from Parkinson's disease for 35 years and was mentally alert always, even if physically impaired, until the end. Lois graduated from Girls High in Philadelphia and Temple University School of Education. She later received her Master's Degree in Library Science. Lois worked as a high school English teacher in the Pennsbury School District in Bucks County, PA, until she left to raise her two daughters. During these years she served as Vice President of the Pennsbury District School Board, Bucks County, and she created extensive libraries for several schools. Lois loved to travel and planned all the trips for her husband, Alvin, a dentist as he lectured around the world. She utilized this knowledge to become a renowned travel agent for family and friends. She had impeccable taste and her opinion was often sought for clothing choices, art selection and house decorating. She was practical, generous and a loving wife, mother and friend. She and Alvin retired and lived her final years happily with him at Freedom Village Retirement Community in Coatesville, PA. She is survived by her husband, Alvin, married for 69 years, her daughter Andrea, son-in-law Walter and grandson, Zachary. She was pre-deceased by her other daughter, Donna. Graveside services will be held Monday 1 P.M. precisely at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 2701 Old Lincoln Hwy, Trevose, Pa. 19053. Lois will be sorely missed by so many.
