Leonid Khodak

With great sadness we announce the passing of Leonid Khodak, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Born on July 18th, 1934 he passed at home on March 9th at the age of 91. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Liza Khodak (nee Gelman) and his two sons, Samuel and Alexander Khodak.

 Born in a small town in Ukraine, he grew up in a difficult time marked by World War II later immigrating to the US in 1980. He enjoyed telling stories of his life and being surrounded by his family. Known for his infectious laughter and sweet tooth he will be dearly missed by his 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Funeral Directors, 310 2nd Street Pike Southampton, PA 18966, on Wednesday, March 11 at 1:30pm. Funeral procession will follow to Montefiore cemetery, luncheon at Passage Restaurant on 10783 Bustleton Ave, Philadelphia PA 19116.
