Larry Simons, age 61, passed peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends on August 13, 2021. A loving and devoted father, husband, brother, and friend, Larry grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, raised his family in Plymouth Meeting, and retired in Margate City. Larry had a passion for making other people smile and feel good, coaching his children in soccer and basketball, going out to eat with his family and friends, playing golf, and relaxing by the ocean. Larry graduated from George Washington High School in 1977. Larry received his bachelor's degree from Temple University's Fox School of Business. Larry went on to have a successful career at Comcast for 35 years where he worked as a Senior Account Executive for advertising sales. Larry was beloved by all for his outgoing and generous personality. Larry was the definition of a "mensch" as he was always taking care of others and making sure everyone was having a great day. Larry dearly loved his mother, Arlene Simons, who passed in December of 2019. He was a compassionate and devoted son. Larry loved taking car rides with his mom, holding her hand and singing Frank Sinatra tunes. Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Paula Rose, loving father of Brooke and Michael Simons, brother of Stephen Simons, Shari Simons, and brother-in-law Steven Zeiger. Also survived by many loving, caring, and dedicated friends and family.
Larry's motto was: "Always look on the bright side of life."

"Embrace each day with a smile and think positive!"
Family and friends are invited to his funeral service at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael Sacks, on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, at 10:30 AM at 6410 N. Broad St, Philadelphia. Interment will be at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Immediately following interment, family and friends are invited to his late residence, 14 Bayside Ct, Margate City, NJ. Minyan service will begin at 6:00pm. Shiva will continue Thursday at 2:00pm. Minyan service will begin at 7:00pm.
