Larry Kaplan

Larry Kaplan passed away peacefully March 16, 2026. Larry was a devoted husband of Dena Kaplan (Nee Lipschutz), loving father of Josh Kaplan (Patricia) and Jodie Kaplan (Dave), beloved brother of Glenn Kaplan (Michele), and dear grandfather of Quinn, Jaxon, Sydney and Melodie. He taught in the Philadelphia school district for over 30 years and was highly respected by all his students who lovingly called him "Kap." Larry loved dining out, dessert, movies, music, bowling, playing blackjack, board games, traveling, his dogs, and above all, spending time with his family. He found joy in the little things and fought Parkinson's with everything he had for over 20 years. He was a Parkinson's warrior and always had a positive attitude and smile on his face. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 10 AM at Shalom Memorial Park, 3573 Pine Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
