Larry H. Berman

Larry H. Berman died peacefully at home on the morning of Monday, August 15th surrounded by his loved ones. Beloved husband of Lynne Berman, his lifelong companion of 62 years; devoted father of Jodi and Les Streitfeld, and his late daughter, Tami Cellinesi; loving grandfather to Seth Concors, Erica Concors, and Jessica Cellinesi. Larry was born in Philadelphia, PA to Sarah and Albert Berman on May 18, 1937, and resided in the Cherry Hill area for most of his adult years. He was a retired veteran and worked as a Corporate Executive for many years. He enjoyed spending time with family and was a Philadelphia sports enthusiast. He was a gentle soul that cared deeply for his loved ones. He was extraordinarily fortunate to have received a second chance at life, a heart transplant, which granted him 23 precious years with his family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. Witnessing Seth and Erica graduate from medical school and Jess become a nurse at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia were his proudest moments. For those that knew and loved Larry, he will be missed always, especially his playful banter, storytelling, and kibbitzing.
