In Loving Memory of Laine Matthews (née Resikoff)

Laine passed away on July 29, 2026.

She was brilliant, generous, creative, and always supportive. She loved to travel, but nothing meant more to her than her family. Her wit, strength, and warmth will never be forgotten.

Laine is survived by her husband, Bart Matthews, her daughter, Lexie Richards, and her grandson, Benjamin Richards. She was the sister of Tanya Bergmann and Ronald Resikoff, the aunt of Ilicia Boyer and Mark Resikoff (Emmie), and the great-aunt of Candace Wertz (Jonathan), Marissa Boyer, Anthony Resikoff (Gina), Regina Resikoff, and Jaclyn Bogacki (Trevor). She is also lovingly remembered by her great-nieces and great-nephews.

She loved unconditionally and was deeply loved in return.

This is an immense loss. What a life she lived—and what a gift it was to be loved by her.
