GROBMAN KAY on February 15, 2003 in Oakland, California, beloved mother of Warren Grobman and Rita Howard and mother-in-law of April Schweighart, Miriam Waltzer and Will Howard. Proud and loving grandmother of Rachel Howard, Steven and Ashlyn Grobman and Jeffrey and Norma Grobman, great-grandmother of Tyler and Lauren Grobman and sister-in-law to Joe Maser and Freda, Leon and Reba Grobman. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Isadore Alvin Grobman, her sister Sylvia Maser and brothers Jay and Max Lansky and had many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews around the world. She was a long-time resident of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she worked as a bookkeeper and for the Veteran's administration. She was active in the sisterhood of Temple Shalom, traveled widely with her late husband, and participated in the chorus and many activities at her former residence, the Lafayette retirement community in Philadelphia. She was a good friend, maintaining friendships over 50 years with the members of her 'bridge-club' many of whom were her high school classmates.
