Obituary

Karen was born to Jean and Jerry Pravdo and was the youngest of three children. She grew up in Philadelphia alongside her two brothers, Rick and Mitchell, with whom she shared a close bond. After high school, Karen attended Penn State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree, and later Temple University, where she recieved her master's degree in speech pathology.

Karen later married and built a loving home in Merion and Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother to her two daughters, Lindsay and Allison.

She worked as a speech pathologist for more than twenty-five years, spending most of her career in the Abington School Distrcit. She was passionate about helping children and made a lasting impact on the lives of countless students.

Karen created a home filled with warmth, love, and tradition through birthdays, holidays, backyard barbecues, summers at the shore and family trips.

Later in life, Karen moved to South Florida, where she spent fifteen happy years surrounded by new friendships, family and meaninful experiences. She especially treasured time with her three grandchildren and with her mother Jean and her brother Rick and husband Jiun.

Karen was known for her kindness, sweet smile, and generous heart. She found joy in everyday moments and will be remembered for her warmth, resilience and the deep love she gave to everyone around her.

Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Funeral Directors, Suburban North, 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966 at 9:30 AM preciesly.
