It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jules Mendelsohn, a devoted husband, loving father and adoring grandfather, who passed away suddenly at home on March 13, 2025, in Huntingdon Valley, PA.

Jules Mendelsohn was born on December 18, 1942, in Wynnfield, PA. He lived a life filled with kindness, humor, hard work, and he always generously gave of his time, wise advice and his money to worthy causes. He was a teacher/supervisor for over 30 years for the Philadelphia School District. When he retired from teaching, he opened his own real estate practice in Northeast Philadelphia, where he worked alongside his son Scott until the present time. His sharp business mind, charismatic personality, winning smile and positive attitude attracted strangers, friends and family.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Patty (nee Green), his children Scott (Cindy) Mendelsohn of Newtown, PA, and Jennifer (Tzivya Kraus) Mendelsohn of Fair Lawn, NJ, his grandchildren, Alexa, Dylan, Ezra, Eytan, Dahlia, and Naftali, and his 2 brothers, Harvey Mendelsohn and Dr. Ira (Judy) Mendelsohn. He also leaves behind 2 nieces and 3 nephews. He is preceded in death by his loving parents Dorothy (nee Shestack) and Morris Mendelsohn and his beloved son David Mendelsohn.

Friends and family are invited to Funeral Services at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Suburban North 310 Second Street Pike, Southampton, PA 18966 on March 16, 2025, at 11:30 AM precisely followed by a committal service at Montefiore Cemetery 600 Church Road, Jenkintown, PA 19046.

Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital www.stjude.org or to American Friends Of Magen David Adom www.afmda.org or to Northeast Sunrisers Rotary Club or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
