
Jules R. Dore'
Jules R. Dore' age 78 passed away on March 26, 2021 of Palmyra, NJ. Beloved husband of Beatrice H. nee Carlese, devoted father of Michelle M. and Marc A. (Christina), cherished grandfather of Vincent M., brother of Thomas (Rose) Dore', brother-in-law of Laura (Joe) Longo, Susan (Bryant) Hughes, Clara Mae (Vinnie) Caruso, Isabell (Ray) Liverman, Tina (Robert) Lamb, and Terri (Dave) Whitlock. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and his beloved grand-cats Mazie and Max.
Jules started his life in service through the Boy Scouts, where he earned the highest honor of Eagle Scout. Jules graduated from Ewing High School in 1962. Attended Trenton Junior College and American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in NYC. He was a licensed funeral director in NJ and PA. Jules served his country with the US Marine Corps as a Sergeant. He was a Life Member of Pennington Road Fire Co. in Ewing Twp., NJ. When he moved to Palmyra in 1969, he joined the Independence Fire Co #1 in Palmyra, and recently celebrated his 50th year with the fire company. Within his service with Palmyra Fire Co, Jules served as past fire chief and held various officer positions within the company. Jules was also a member of the Fire Bell Club of The New York City Fire Department. Jules worked at Goldstein's Rosenberg's Raphael- Sachs, Inc. in Philadelphia for 36 years, where he retired in 2016. Jules was a member of St. Joseph Council Knights of Columbus in Palmyra and was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo in Cinnaminson for 44 years. Jules could not wait to start planting his garden in May. He was known in the neighborhood by his "Jersey Tomato's" and other veggies he enjoyed growing in his garden. Jules was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone and was always ready to dance.

Goldstein's Rosenberg's Raphael-Sacks Funeral Home, 310 2nd St. Pike, Southampton, PA. Funeral Mass Tuesday, March 30 at 10:30 am, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pike, Cinnaminson, NJ. Interment at St. Hedwig Cemetery, 500 Eggert Crossing, Ewing Twp. NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions to Independence Fire Co. Palmyra Fire Department, 115 W. Broad St., Palmyra, NJ 08065 or to St. Charles Borromeo Church, 2500 Branch Pk., Cinnaminson, NJ 08077 would be appreciated.
